Dr. Kevin Glasgow
Dr. Kevin Glasgow is a board director, physician executive, consultant, and clinician with a background in the public, not-for-profit, and private health care sectors. Dr. Glasgow holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario (MD), Harvard (MBA), and Toronto (MHSc). He also holds a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from the Royal College of Physicians of London (with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine of the University of London). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and the American College of Preventive Medicine, as well as a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Glasgow currently serves on the Board of Directors of Canadian Blood Services. His previous Board experience includes Habitat for Humanity Toronto, the Association of Local Public Health Agencies, and the Institute for Infection and Immunity of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. He has also served on the Governing Council of the Health Charities Coalition of Canada, in addition to numerous advisory boards.
Dr. Glasgow served as CEO for Crohn's and Colitis Canada, the Cardiac Care Network of Ontario, the Brant County Board of Health (as Medical Officer of Health), and a biotechnology start-up. He was also Associate Vice-President for a major pharmaceutical company and Senior Medical Consultant with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Dr. Glasgow has experience in digital health delivery providing executive oversight of North America's largest population-based, integrated cardiac registry; promoting computing to accelerate the drug discovery process; and as a Peer Assessor with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario exposed to a spectrum of EMRs.
Kevin is married, and his interests include reading, tennis, gardening, and travel adventures.
